Le Corbusier's raised concrete slabs was the primary building system incorporated into the design. It was chosen for its strength and adaptability to various terrains as well as for its modular properties.
The prevailing theme in the buildings' design was that despite being separate entities, like nature, they transcend to a much greater purpose together. Many different designs were explored before arriving on an interlocking, pie shape.

"Not only did Jacqui excel at learning good space planning techniques and design, she then went on to be a thorough team player in the development of the final design presentation. Jacqui has an unparalleled aptitude for quickly learning and applying her knowledge. As an example, she was able to produce an impressive model and virtual fly-by/walk through of her design in Sketch-Up within weeks and under pressure for a completion due date, having never used the program before. She also displayed exceptional presentation abilities when the project was presented to our faculty and administration."
